That's because our government and the FRB are trying to hide inflation as much as they can everywhere else. People aren't punched everyday in ENY just for being Mexican though. Its a result of the current political climate.

All types of people have experienced physical harm for their appearance way before Trump, all over the world. So whats the difference now? You tell me.

There's a pretty hard economic collapse every 10 years or so.

There has been an increase in hate crimes in Brooklyn since Trump was elected. NPR was covering a story about all the swastikas popping up all across the city, and believe it to be correlated to his election.
