Wealthy Manhattan neighborhood are fighting not to diversify their schools.

"The plan is designed to make Upper West Side schools more reflective of New York City’s diverse demographics, and make sure underprivileged students have access to the sorts of advantages and resources that the neighborhood’s well-funded schools can provide."

This is something that's very common. I said to Blanca. You can think of it as fill in the blanks.
The parents from the kids that immigrate here have A hard time adjusting, do to the language barrier.
As for example. The parent has a hard time at work. The one spouse complains to the other.
The child over here's and now the next day at school shows resent to his or her fellow classmate.

I don't really understand this.
All of the public schools in NYC should have the same funding and resources, no?

In the nicest way someone can put it. The funds for the sports team disappeared do to A sweet tooth
that lead to sticky fingers.

Your headline may be misleading. As I understand it, the objection isn't to racial/economic diversity, but for the plan to let in "dumber" kids. I can understand the objections.
