The video features a couple who just purchased an apartment in SOHO, but the kicker is, the apartment doesn't have any windows, besides the glass atrium on the ceiling. I wasn't aware that such apartments even existed in NYC (due to fire codes, etc). I love the character of the place, but I do wonder if they will grow tired of not being able to open up actual windows for fresh air.
It may not be an issue for the couple, because they own another home in the Hamptons with ample windows and outdoor space. I guess it's doable if one owns multiple homes.
What are your thoughts on purchasing a condo in NYC (specifically Manhattan) without any windows? Some would argue that the views are the best part of living in Manhattan.
What is this? SPAM to get people to watch that tiring video of an equally tiresome couple and their NYC apartment finding "journey"? Not to mention having to suffer through all those Youtube commercials.

There's several minutes of my life I want back.
No, it was an honest question. After watching the video, I thought to myself --what an AMAZING apartment, but then realized, there are no windows..
I love the character of the apartment, especially the exposed brick and bookshelves, but I need my natural light and fresh air.

No. I wouldn't even buy one in Brooklyn with no windows.
To be fair if this place has an atrium with a skylight or whatever, it means they are at top of a building. Besides long as there are enclosed stairwells you don't need fire escapes.
