I think you have to wait and see. Very few people have no credit rating at all. Do you like the building and area and want to live there? If so, gather up all the documents requested, make good copies, and show up at the appointed time and place. Don't say anything about credit. Let them find out for themselves. You have to pass the income hurdles first. After that, they will run a credit check. Maybe the absence of debt will be in your favor. I'm assuming that's the reason you have no credit rating. Best of luck!
its up to Management to approve you or not. I went to a NYC housing connect workshop and had a one on one with . They said if the applicant has no credit. They look at the applicants age. 18-24. Depending on the management. I just got approved for a nyc lottery that was not on housing connect.
my score is very bad because of student loans. I hear the management for Livonia commons is very tuff on requirements. DONT GIVE UP , TRYING WONT HURT AND HAVING NO CREDIT IS BETTER THEN HAVING DEBT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD START WITH A SIMPLE FINGERHUT ACCOUNT
I have an apartment interview this Friday, but I have no credit, nor do I owe money to anyone. Do you think I'll still land this apartment? I meet the income. I'm single, 26 years old, and work for the board of education.
