Opinion:
He looks like someone with a health crisis who won't be around for long.
Guess he's trying to break a record. Unique but obscure way to have your
name memorialized for years......
'Barry was the subject of two arrest warrants that had been issued for him for missed court appearances.
One such case is from a Jan. 19 incident where he allegedly stole $50 out of a woman’s hand inside a subway station at W. 42nd St. and Sixth Ave. near Bryant Park, where he was issued a desk appearance ticket—think same as a traffic or parking ticket.
The second warrant was related to an incident back in December.'
So the new bail rules are supposed to keep people out of jail until the court date.
Ok.
But the guy doesn't show up at the court and warrant for his arrest is issued.
So he is arrested and is released... until the court hearing..... which he is going to miss again ...
Shouldn't he be kept in jail if he is skipping the court and arrest warrants are issued?
What arrest warrant are good for if one is going to be released anyway?
Or is there some magic number of arrest warrants after which the bail is going to be denied?

What am I missing here?
it's the Mayor, the council people and the governor who are missing it....
(their new bail reform policy sucks and is stupid beyond belief )..........
