This has nothing to do with what's going on in NYC so just stop.
I think it is very much about what's been happening here. Who would want to be a millionaire here and there's nothing to do and get taxed up the wazoo.
In Florida they don't have strict lockdown orders and people aren't dropping dead as fast as warned.
It has nothing to do with Brady wanted to relocate to Florida due to changing teams. All kinds of stars own properties in NYC even though they don't work here.
Tom is SELLING his NYC property and don't even care about returning here anymore. That's a very big deal.
If it wasn't for covid he'll continue to keep the NYC property and coming here whenever he feels like while working in New England or Tampa.
I dont feel bad for him. He will go from one posh pad to another in a day. Many people want to leave but cant due to not having the money or job available to do so.
Yes, Tom Brady sold his place in the city. But the critical point: Somebody was willing to buy it. So there are clearly still rich people who want to be here.
Tom Brady didn't own their NYC home for long before leaving for Miami.
Actually, they are not really leaving . They had 2 apartments in the same building and although they sold the bigger one they are keeping the smaller one so they will still be in NYC a lot of the time.
They also had a huge house in Boston (which was their primary residence) and which they just sold.
I don't think he was ever a resident of NYC or NY State anyway so not much has changed really. They switched their primary residence from Boston to Miami and still have a pied a terre in Manhattan.
Tom is SELLING his NYC property and don't even care about returning here anymore. ....
That's ridiculous. They are still going to have an apartment in NYC in the same building. Didn't you read the article you posted ?
They are not really leaving Ny. The only place they have left....which was their primary residence....is Boston, for obvious reasons. They don't need to be there any more.
