Leftists love preaching diversity like it's some magic pill but are too stupid to realize their own backyard (nyc in this case) is one of the most segregated places in this country.
I welcome all replies but since Llol45519 said this please wait if possible for him to answer first (assuming he will), thanks

Oh that is so easy, in a nutshell:
NYC is a massive crush of humanity with insane numbers of people on a small amount of land. That means you have to scrap and compete for everything. People who came in dirt poor were able to survive and prosper by sticking to their individual community to support eachother. That includes Irish, Italians, Blacks, Jews, Chinese you name it each group established their own neighborhood not only to go to but also defended against anyone coming in.
Up until very recently, and I mean as recently as 30 years ago, most native born NYers never left their neighborhood to go anywhere except for the occasional trip to a stadium or something like that. Forget about even leaving the country to travel they would not even cross the block into someone else's neighborhood. Italians in Bensonhurst would beat the crap out of a black guy who dared walk onto one of their streets and the black guys in Crown Heights would return the favor.
In 2021 what you're seeing is basically people moving to where they are comfortable. That means finding people and areas that are culturally similar and so people now just self-segregate
Location: Formerly NYC by week; ATL by weekend...now Rio bi annually and ATL bi annually

Thats partially true...and people have been moving where they want for a minute wouldnt you say? I mean BK started to gentrify years ago. Not just recently.
NYC is one of the LEAST segregated in the US. We literally have $5,000,000 brown stones a block away from the projects. The city is very block by block. There are enclaves of certain ethnicities here and there, but compared to most US and even world cities, we are likely the least segregated city in the US.
I, for example, am a white guy that lives in West Harlem in a $1,000,000 apartment surrounded by $3,000,000 brown stones with a mix of whites, blacks and Spanish on my block, with a project five blocks away. I walk out my door and see all ethnicities.
I’m not saying there is no segregation, but compared to most cities, we are not.
Now Chicago is a good example of a very segregated city. It’s literally split in two and was planned that way back in the day.
Edit: Oh wait, this is a troll thread trolling a troll. Should have read through.
