I sold my car for way above Blue Book value in December, saved $700+ a month on something I barely used, and don't have to worry about gas prices to fill it up. It's a good feeling.
You may be glad that you don't drive but higher fuel prices affect us directly with higher grocery costs as nothing grows on concrete and everything has to be trucked here.

That's true, but it doesn't effect me nearly as much as my friends in LA who have no choice but to drive everywhere and are paying $5-6 a gallon.

Higher food prices still aren't that big of a deal if your transportation costs are pretty much stable or lower. With WFH, most people are cooking and eating at home anyway. My food bill a month is more or less the same as pre-COVID, perhaps even higher, but my transportation costs are down, so I still come out ahead. I do get around by car, but as I said I am still WFH, so I'm not too worried. The people that drive everywhere are the ones that should be concerned, but quite frankly, it doesn't seem like anyone cares. Congestion is as bad as ever.

Facts! Omg. Grid-lock galore. With the honking and the yelling and people stepping out of their cars to see what's going on.
