There he goes again....

This clown like the eejit before him just doesn't know when to stop. Every other week he's creating another office, appointment, position... This is the same clown telling city agencies and council NYC needs to cut down on spending.

To be fair, there should really be transparency in healthcare costs.
It is the only industry where you find out the prices only after consuming their services. Thus there is no market pressure to compete on pricing.

Doesn't the article say it was sponsored by the City Council?

Who cares, doctors are only in the business of keeping you sick

How would they pay their mortgage if most people were healthy

Keeping you sick but alive with their drugs.

They are really the foot soldiers for the pharmaceutical industry who make billions on drugs that don’t cure but only manage your sickness and keep you alive so they can milk more money from you (or for those who get free healthcare, the government).

Interesting comment. Is there a country where medicine is different and people are much healthier? Where the doctors are not in business of 'keeping you sick'? Do you think most doctors are on this?

Edit- I happen to like my doctor

When you get a chance, Google "countries with the longest life expectancy" and get back to me
