I see on the Van Cortlandt park map trails there is a John Muir nature trail which appears to run from Oneida Ave and Van Cortlandt park east in Woodlawn to about H Hudson Pkwy/Mosholu Pkwy in Riverdale. I would like to take this trail but don't know if the turns (there are many that intersect with other paths and trails) are clearly marked JM nature trail. For me to feel secure doing this i would want them to be clearly marked so i can find my way
Another question is I still have not found the trail that appears to go from the bike trail at the Mosholu pkwy/Deegan junction to E 233 street in Woodlawn. The map shows a clearly marked trail that should start by the spiral bike path that goes under the Mosholu and Deegan, up and loops over(the golf carts are also part of this). When i look for it it's nowhere to be found.
