Yeah what a shame a totally innocent guy just trying to sell his rap cd's got shot for no reason. An innocent bystander. I know that I'm totally innocent and I carry my mac-10 with me everywhere. I'm sure he was just trying to show the cops where the real criminals were. My favorite part was the picture he had with Sharpton. Something about a picture being worth a thousand words.

I am conflicted on this: Is there really any value for Newsday to post an article like this w/ regards to someone who, though dead, appears to have caused his own demise and possibly put innocents at risk? And all for what, some stupid ego boost one gets by carrying an illegal gun & talking back to the cops? I understand that this was someones son, brother, whatever... but he in effect did this to himself. I think we should save the "sympathy" stories for someone who deserves it...

here's the article.

Peddler in shootout recalled as hip-hop dreamer

Mom is upset because the cops didn't shoot him in the legs while he was firing a sub machine gun at them.

in reference to someones son I'm sure her parenting skills were stellar.

lastly...yes he was a horrible person.
