Hey folks,
I'm Phil and I love to dance.
Just one month ago I decided to search for a job in NYC. Lots of people keep telling me, that I'm lucky, because I'm able to start as an IT-Consultant in midtown in May. I'm actually moving to NYC in April.
However working as an IT-Consultant is not the main reason that will bring me to the city. The reason is that I want to start (hip hop) dancing in da city.
!!! These are the most important things, which I'd like you to help me with:
- getting my dancing started besides work (evening, weekend)
- trying different dance styles (not too artistic & abstract, but energetic with the possibility to transport a message & emotions)
- finding other people like me, who love to dance / a dance community, open dance spaces, online community
- transition from dance classes to a real dance education / school after 1,5 years
- finding a room in a flat share which is close to dance studios / schools and to my job in midtown (grand central) ideally in a young, creative, open-minded area
- finding possibilities to do some volunteer work on weekends & making contacts in the area of international development
- knowing all the things, which are important, but i haven't mentioned

You can fulfill your dream if you start this work in partnership with some local guy. Start a dance school for all age groups. You will definitely get succeed.
