RIT, despite its name (Rochester Inst. of Technology) is a very good school for visual arts. It is a very good school in any subject. It is mostly an engineering and computer/information science school, and the male/female ratio is definatly in favor of females. But I would seriously consider RIT if I were you. Alfred is good too, but its in the middle of absolutely nowhere.
