Ya gotta kinda wonder how the NY liberal mind works.

By far, 65%, most electricity in NY comes from nuclear and NG. Libs are terriblely opposed to both of those.

Do they tell themselves they are only using the hydro part?? 18%?? Or "other renewable"?? That's 3%.

And hydo is about tapped out. Other is never gonna get off the ground in NY. So more electric cars would need more electricity. Which would mean more nukes or fracking.

I think the story gets more into the lack of usage of charging stations, in which they aren't really that widespread and I think it is a comfortability issue. Meaning, that people aren't quick to give up driving cars which require gas.

Also, while some may argue that it is clean, fracking wouldn't be involved in this aspect of clean energy. What could possibly happen is that such charging stations could be put under NYPA, which is suppose to have lower rates. How to go about doing this may bring about another set of issues.
