Hochul: SUNY, CUNY students required to get COVID-19 booster shot (New York: university, campus)

All State University of New York and City University of New York students who are eligible will be required to get the COVID-19 booster shot before returning to campus after the winter break, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced Friday.

All faculty at these institutions will also be required to receive the vaccine.

Health officials recommend individuals can get a booster shot six months after receiving the first round of COVID-19 shots.

This mandate officially takes effect on Jan. 15.

Cases! Cases! Oogie oogie boogie!!! Enough with that crap. It’s fear mongering.
Nobody is stopping this virus. It’s forever. Cases don’t matter.
What matters is focusing on those who get a bad bout of it.
Just like they’ve been doing forever with the flu.
Thankfully this virus is NOT an instant death sentence for everyone who catches it. And it never was. It’s nothing but fear mongering, chest puffing, and control. Period.
