Do you notice whether a person changes their clothes from one day to the next? Like, if a co-worker wears the same thing to work two days in a row, would you notice that? Do you wear something different every day because you think other people would notice if you didn't? How many people can you keep track of the wardrobe of on a day to day basis?
If somebody wears the same thing two days in a row, do you assume that it is dirty? Or even worse, that they slept in it, or didn't go home last night?
If it happens all the time yes. If every great once in awhile then no. But it would only concern me if bad hygiene was involved and they were stinking up the place.

I would definitely notice, and I would actually think something odd was going on. I would not assume that it was dirty, but I would assume that either they spent the night out and didn't get home, or maybe their washer was broken and they didn't have time to take their clothes to a laundromat.
Funny, though, way back in 1976 I worked for a couple of months as an exchange student/intern in a bank in Hamburg, Germany and there it was the norm to wear an outfit two days in a row. I got the strong idea from those around me that they disapproved of someone wearing a different outfit every day, as they thought the person was showing off. I kind of wonder if that was a remnant of the post war years.
I absolutely loved only having to think about what to wear every other day. It was like a mini vacation for my brain. I so missed that custom when I moved back to the States.
To irootoo's point, I think it is custom in Europe. Just so happens that my German co-worker will wear the same thing a few times a week. Also, when I was in France they did it too.
I noticed when people do it, but I don't care. I work with a lot of men now and I don't know if they wear the same thing or they just have multiple of the same outfit. One guy wears black pants and white button down shirt every day. Another guy black pants and dark blue shirt. Another guy grey pants and polo of white or grey color. Are they the same outfit, I don't know. Honestly, I think only women care about this and would notice. I'm sure the dudes don't even notice lol
I probably would not notice but I don't care either, wear what you want when you want.
I personally have 8 of everything so I know when I put on the last set of clothing it is time to do laundry for the next week.
well yeah, if someone doesn't change in a week , you get to noticing
through your nose.
