That is my point, but she has no call to get annoyed he asked since she put the information out there in the first place.
Thanks for clarifying. Some of your posts sounded like you thought since she posted about personal things, she owed all who questioned her an in-depth explanation.

Right, these people would get annoyed for you even asking. I had a situation, wasn't dating related. Was just some grievance she had with a co-worker or bystander.
And I actually made a joke about it, and she unfriended me. What was sad was, I knew her in real life. I private messaged this person and she said she "needed some space" as she was going through a tough time.
I said, "Well, no reason to unfriend me, I mean...you know me in real life, you know I'm a good guy." I let her be...and in case anyone asks, I didn't have at thing for her.

That's lecturing.
Anything you post on someone's facebook page that is even a little questioning of them, or negative, is like shouting it out in an auditorium full of their friends.
I'd block you, honestly, after a few of those instances and apparently you do it all the time.
Filter, ThisTown, find your filter and use it.
Next time say wow that's awful, I'll be extra careful to make sure my car is locked! if you have to lecture her on locking her car after the fact.

OP asked a valid questions, though I would've said, "I thought you had a boyfriend?" which sounds less accusatory. But her reply was totally defensive and rude.
This whole thread is why I don't live my life on social media. I actually have friends that I hang out with/talk to IRL.
I can't even imagine "worrying" about the people who's friendship is all about "FB, etc". Those are not your everyday friends. Anyone can "friend" anyone. So not worth it to me.
ETA: Btw.. I'm not "old". I started using computers in the 3rd grade.
