Meh I always wear mine, even when I sleep. Not really comfortable without them. Definitely wouldn't go without one if there was a stranger around. But that's just me.

Just use some common sense. Don’t go around wearing tight see-through tops in a cold house.

So don’t wear one. But if you catch the guy sneaking glances at your chest, and adjusting himself, come back here and read this thread again.

With that guy living there, it's a good idea to wear a bra.

Considering the material they make shirts from now, you practically are.
Kinda wondering what the reaction would be if guys ran around in public with nothing covering the the junk other than a thin layer of t-shirt material.
OP how would you feel about the new roomie floating around the house in his tighty whities?

It's a matter of comfort, for both of you.

It's your bras. Get a more comfortable (or tell your mom to buy it) and maybe you wont feel like flinging it across the room when you get home.

At least you're not planning on teasing him and actively trying to be seen braless. You're far too mature for that.

Bottom line? Her house, her rules.

She is erring on the side of caution, but she is doing that out of love for you.

But I feel for you, as soon as I get home the bra comes off.

Try to look at the big picture and your mom's intent is to try to keep you safe. I think the issue is more complex than just bra or no bra, I would just increase your security, modesty and alertness for awhile. Get to know this guy better before you relax and let it all hang out. Be dressed. No walking around in your nighty... Re-evaluate as you go. Many situations in your life will call for an increase in caution and discretion for awhile... practice it.
