Hi, I'm planning to relocate to Nashville this summer and need some advice on the apartments in the area. I'm planning to take a trip to the area around April to get a better feel for the area. In the meantime, I've been searching on the internet for a decent apartment.
The only apartment complex I've been able to find a website for is Hampton Village of Nashville on North Wheeless Drive. I checked on apartment ratings.com and only saw reviews (negative) for Oak Tree Apartments on South 1st Street.
I'm hoping to obtain some recommendations. Peaceful and quiet, with good maintenance is a must.
I've read some of the posts on here concerning Wilson and Rocky Mount but they weren't very encouraging. I read that Wilson has high utility bills and that's a nightmare I'm trying to escape. Last summer, my electric bill for my 2 bedroom apartment was in the $500 range. Also, I have 2 daughters - a teen and a pre-teen. I want to be careful about the neighborhood.
Some of the municipalities that are third party "suppliers" of power (Selma is one) add what amounts to usery (it seems) to the bill just because they can. I have heard there are some nice areas of Rocky Mount. You might even look at the Zebulon / Eastern Wake area?
Thanks. Can you point me towards the nice areas of Rocky Mount?
