Hi! I am looking for any information on Bobby Bell or relatives. He is from NC. He died of a heart attack in 1997. He was 1/2 Native American and 1/2 Black. He had 2 sisters, not sure if they are still alive. He had two children with Catherine Machi, from Maryland, who died in a car accident in 1998. Thanks to all!

There is a People Search forum under C-D's General Forums. You might have more success posting there. Good luck!

Check out the "ancesters.com " website advertised on tv all the time. They brag about being able to find out about any ancestor you might have

Do the names Versie Mae and Lula Mae sound familiar? One of the couples I mentioned in my DM as propects had 4 children: these two girls, a brother, and a Bobby Bell.

I have been using Ancestry.com, but the problem is that it finds *too* many people named Bobby Bell. I think he could have been born between 1938 and 1958. Robeson County is a possibility as it has many Lumbee Indians, and the NC birth records name the one race for the child.

Another possibility might be among the Cherokee Indians in western NC.
