Based on that we should have snow around the beginning of March, First 3 years of one of my grandkids we had snow on their birthday.

LOL, celebration of a bug seems funny I wonder if they have parade of the wooly worm or contests where you can bet who will cross a line.

We both are off this weekend, even though Banner Elk has past leaf peak, the drive up there should be nice to view nature litter.

From what I gather from forecast that it will be normal but anything could occur like a polar vortex but we are in equal zone so anything could happen.

If I would predict base on history we have significant snow of an inch or more near the 20th of January.

So far the weather pattern seems average as the lows are in 40's the last week of October like what is predicted by meteorologists.

Last weekend was perfect. This past week we had some brutal wind and rain that blew down a lot of leaves. There's still enough color to make a day trip worth it, but a little past peak.
