Yeah, I fail to see how Uber has created anything. Might be a good and convenient service, which is perfectly fine. But they're just taking from one pocket and putting it in the other. Laud them for using technology, creating convenience and shunning useless government interference, but not for "creating jobs".
Has anyone here ever driven for them? Wondering what your experience has been?
I want to give it a try. I saw their ad for drivers/cars for the Raleigh area. Wait till they combine this with driver-less cars. Just think you could buy a driver- less car and while you're not using it it's out making you some extra $$. You're cutting your grass and suddenly your car takes off to pick someone up.

If your car is driving itself, I'm sure you can also find a lawnmower to cut the grass by itself, too! You can be swinging in your hammock while all this is going on.
The person who introduced me to uber said they much preferred it after numerous accidents with bad taxi drivers. I prefer uber now.
