Thats too bad. Eastern NC needs access to natural gas, and this country needs to move towards using more natural gas (which we have lots of and is a relatively clean fuel).

Perhaps the process of burning NG to generate electricity is cleaner that the oil/coal fired plants, but everything up to the point of ignition is just as disastrous to the environment.

It doesn't come near here, but the Dakota Access Pipeline was also shutdown today.

Thru 2033, demand was not expected to increase past the 2019 levels. With no increase in demand, why would they continue....
