Default Wallenpaupack map

Not sure if you are looking to find property in the area or just visit, but if you are looking for a map that shows communities in the area, here's a link:

Google Maps

It was made by a local realtor (for which I am not affiliated in any way, shape or form) but I found useful myself when I was looking to find out what's in the area.

Lake Wallenpaupack is actually Hawley. I didn't know this until I lived here for 13 years! There is no town called 'Lake Wallenpaupack.'

There are actually many towns that surround Lake Wallenpaupack, including Ledgedale, Greentown, Tafton, Paupack, Hawley, and Lakeville.

Conveniently, it's located in the low lying areas between the two shores. You can't miss it!

We live in Ledgedale, the post office calls us Lake Ariel, and when anyone ever asks where we live I say Lake Wallenpaupack. More of a generalized known place rather than saying Ledgedale!

Lake Ariel post office does cover a huge area, including the Mt. Cobb area, Maplewood, Hamlin, and Ledgedale. So many people have a Lake Ariel address, but most don't actually live in the town of Lake Ariel.

Don't forget poor old Lakeville. They "Centralia'd " the zip code a little while ago, and lumped the town in with Hawley.

Thank you for linking to my map! And I'm glad that you found it useful!! All of the communities around Lake Wallenpaupack can be overwhelming and confusing. I hope others find it useful as well.
