The media is dominated by liberals......shouldn't be surprising that they wouldn't cover events that criticize "the messiah."

Now, now, now! I'm a liberal, and even I have found fault with some of President Obama's policies. By "liberal" did you mean fiscally or socially? As a fiscal conservative President Obama has truly made me grimace on a lot of occasions as we move nearer and near to corporate socialism, but as a social liberal I view him as being progressive and the right man to move our country into the right direction---AWAY from the border-line theocracy that many Republicans wanted us to shift towards.

I didn't watch local news, but saw lead-story coverage of it on major networks, pbs, and cnn, so I have no idea what you people are griping about.

That was far more coverage than this blatant publicity stunt was worth. Oh yeah, it's non-partisan , and supposed conservatives suddenly care about government debt.

The absolute only ones i hear equate Obama or call Obama the Messiah is the Rebulicans. Do you ditto heads all have a secret meeting place where you get your talking points to go throw up on everyone? Ohh wait, yes you do, Rush and FOX.

I am not blinded by Obama's cult of personality like some but I do believe he is our Commander and chief that was elected by the American people and we should at least give him the opportunity to try and turn this country around. It is fantastic that people are voicing their opinions at the tea parties but don't try and pass it off as a bi partisan gathering. These were orchestrated by FOX and the Right wing extremist radio hosts. Sure it may have been calling out Bush but that is rightly soo.

I find it hard to understand how some people who self admittedly know nothing about our tax codes, our tax structure, the ethos or tenants of true Marxist socialism and the actual measures being taking today to attempt to clean up the mess our very own greed got us into and yet speak as if they are a Rhoads Scholar on the subject.

Go Phillies based on some of your comments, especially your righteous views around religion, if being called a liberal by you is wrong, i don't want to be right.

Maybe it's the fact that this president has outspent EVERY other in the history of our country in just three months of being in office that has people of every party "suddenly" caring.

GreenTown,

Help me understand your beef. Are you saying that Obama has spent more in three months in office than any other president, on a whim, with no situation that would warrant immediate action to do so?. Also, if you have a job, have you noticed your taxes have been reduced?

Lastly, now that we are accounting the the actual costs of the wars are in and we are trying to keep th economy stable by infusing it with capitol, what else should we be doing???

If the Gov't does not spend the money right now on things that will either float certain aspects of the private sector things in your little compartmentalized world will get a whole lot worse.

I just find it odd that people who say we should respect the office of president and be more civil towards Obama were the same people who spewed venom at Bush for 8 years. Don't get me wrong, Bush deserved criticism, but I find the liberals' hypocrisy to be pathetic.

Obama's already done enough for me to judge him....he's the most pro-abortion president in our nation's history, and in only 3 months has managed to take noticeable steps towards socialism....we're seeing quasi-nationalization of banks and the auto industry....and this is only 3 months into his presidency.

Remember a few years ago when there was an uproar over Bush holding hands with Saudi King Abdullah? Well, Obama BOWED before him recently...not even a peep from the media.

I'm really scared at the direction this country is going in.

Uh, didn't Bush outspend every president before him?
