I've called several Asian markets on Columbia pike and they don't carry it. Hoping someone could recommend a market that sells it not too far out of the area. Arigato

"Asian food" around here usually means Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese. You'll need to search out a Japanese grocer. You may have to go to DC or McLean.

I've seen it not far from here! GranMart in Seven Corners. Head straight on Wilson, past Eden, and keep going straight through the convergence of Route 7/50--as if you were gonna get on 50 West. Just after the main intersection, take the first right after Pistone's Italian Restaurant.

GranMart has pretty much all ethnic food you can think of--Latin American, East Asian, and South Asian.

I'd try GranMart or HMart, but neither are in McLean. There are at least three Japanese restaurants in McLean, but no Asian grocery stores or markets.

There was one, but I didn't realize it had closed.

There's an Asian food market at this location:

6901 Hechinger Dr
Springfield, VA 22151

It's gone through several names so I'm not sure what it's called at this point. Try your luck.

She wanted one near N. Arl; the Falls Church GranMart on 50 is 10 minutes from where I am and no more than 20 minutes from anywhere else in N. Arl, other than perhaps Rosslyn.

The bigger question: Why on earth do you want to eat natto?!

I was thinking the same thing after eating the Wikipedia description. Anything described as "foul-smelling" I generally avoid putting in my mouth. I preferred the hot dogs I had for breakfast at the Tokyo train station.

Prices at Narita are actually somewhat better than IAD, DCA, etc.. Tuna salad in a class by itself for 13 USD, and a 500 ml Coke Zero for 1.80 (small is 1.89 at MCD-LAX).
