I have a couple of large comforters that I want to wash and wanted to know if there were any good (mainly safe area) self-service (ie coin) Laundromats near Sterling. I can drive a little if needed (since it would still be safer than paying the dry cleaners!).

Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I used this laundromat when my washer was broken. Totally safe, and probably the nicest laundromat I've ever seen. I would warn you, though, that instead of having a self-serve machine to buy detergent, there is a staffed booth - when I went, I had to buy a small bottle of Tide that was expensive for the size. I should have brought my own. Also, there is a Subway in the same strip if you want to grab a bite to eat while you wait.

Perfect. I will try that out! I keep thinking about changing out my current washer (which is high capacity but is a toploader and very hard to fit the large, thick & fluffy king comforters) for a bigger front loader but haven't been able to justify the cost to myself! Appreciate the info!
