I have a job interview with a great company that I would love to be apart of. Problem is, I don't have a car at the moment.
Any suggestions on how to get from Arlington to Chantilly (near Dulles Airport) by public transit without a taxi?
Advice much appreciated.

Try using the trip planner on wmata.com. It should give you metro/bus route suggestions.

Why not rent a car for the day?

Orange line METRO to Vienna then transfer to the appropriate Fairfax Connector bus.

Here's a link to the Fairfax Connector bus routes -- check out routes 650, 651 and 652.

That would be an impossible commute by bus, so if you passed the background check and were hired, you'd need to move closer to Chantilly. Just thinking ahead.
A round-trip taxi ride would be $180, so I understand if that were difficult to pay.
Good luck.

There are bus routes, biggest problem is nothing is walkable in chantilly. So you could be dropped off 1/2 mile away via bus, but it would be impossible to walk to the office due to lack of sidewalks, psuedo-freeways, and onramps. Post exact location of the office and I can help you figure out a non-car way to get there.
