I saw numbers for zip codes on City-data but is there is website which tells which community has what percentage of Asian/Whites/Hispanic etc.

Looking for a good mix to research for my home search.
I found websites for schools , zip codes but nothing for community

One example is below:

Application - ERROR!

It covers a lot but not info I am looking for.

Thanks
Andy

You can get a lot of information down to at least census tract level on these sites:

Try the Fairfax County website. They have that info at the precinct level. You can get the boundaries of the precincts from the county website as well, but you may find that'll info in the mapping section. There is an article in today's Washington Post real estate section on this subject. It basically says a real estate agent cannot give you that informations and it lists a few web sites which try to skirt the law and give you that info. You might want to read the article.

You can search for CDPs (Census-Designated Places) on American FactFinder.

Here is the info for the Fair Lakes CDP: American FactFinder - Results *

You can use TIGERweb to see the exact boundaries that are included. First, in the map layers dialog box, select "Transportation (Roads and Rails)", then close the box. Next, click the magnifying glass; under "select map", choose "Places and County Subdivisions"; under "select layer", choose "Census Designated Places"; in "names", type "Fair Lakes"; then click "Submit query".
