Does anyone know Franconia-Springfield Metro Kiss and Ride Lot? I just found it on Google Map: https://goo.gl/maps/8vPmxFR29wT9XGaBA

Per attached screenshot: Can I park there for around $15 and waiting for picking up someone?

Thanks.

Edit: the sign shows "Do Not Enter", then what is the parking lot for?

Kiss and Ride lots are for quick drop-offs hence the name 'kiss and ride' - I don't think they want people parking for long periods of time. I wasn't aware you had to pay to go into the Kiss and Ride lots either but I live near an underground station so it's been a while.

Not long period of time, it should be no more than 20 minutes while I am waiting in the car or go to vendor machine lobby to pick up some one.

If long period of time, then I would park inside garage.

Maybe it is just for picking up or dropping off place.

Thanks for the information.

If you're staying in the Kiss and Ride area, you can't leave your car unattended.

The picture you posted with the meters is the short-term parking area. You can feed the meter and park there for an hour or so (maybe 2 hours? It's been a while...). If you're meeting someone in the station itself, this is where to go.

The Do Not Enter sign is just making sure people don't go the wrong direction in the lot.

Thanks. Typo in my post: I mean "park there for around 15 minutes", not "park there for around $15"
