Moving to Fairfax City in a few weeks.

Any recommendations for the following:

Family doctor
Pediatrician?

Does anyone have recommendations for childcare (15 month old) - inhome or center.

Any tips will be appreciated.

There's an organization called Infant Toddler Family Daycare that you might want to check out:

Infant Toddler - Home

You make an appointment with them, and they provide you with a list of home daycare providers in the area. These providers have to meet certain standards to be part of the program, so it's a little better than just pulling names off craigslist.

Their office is in Fairfax City, across from Ted Britt's used car place.

There is a KinderCare on Main Street, but I wasn't very impressed when I visited.

We have seen Dr. Ghassan Atiyeh at Children's Medical Associates CMA Home Page and very much liked him (10mo and 4.5yo). We decided against a daycare so I don't have any recommendations for you on that front (not impressed with Kindercare). We moved here at the end of June and have been staying in Fairfax City in a temporary housing situation. It has been an enjoyable area.

We also have been going to Children's Medical Associates for 2 years. They are easily accessible and I never have problems getting an appointment nor do I have to wait long when I have one scheduled.
