My husband is in NOVA for work and has a Friday afternoon flight back to New Orleans. If his flight is cancelled, where should he go to watch the SuperBowl on Sunday? His apartment is in the Mark Center - anywhere in Alexandria part of the Who Dat Nation??
Thanks!

I'd just find the closest sports bar. No matter where you go, a huge number of people will be rooting for the Saints.

I posted a note in a thread about cajun food--maybe one of those places will be having a superbowl party. BTW, we're rooting for the Saints, too. My husband plays the sax, and he's looking forward to playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" each and every time they make a touchdown!

So how did this story resolve? Did he get out of town in time? Did he get to see the Saints win?

It's funny how my SuperBowl party evolved. First I had a party planned, then I cancelled it due to the snow. But then when we went out yesterday I found out some of my neighbors with satellite dishes weren't getting reception. So we had them over instead.

Now I need to go out and get food again!

He was able to get out on a 2 p.m. flight on Friday - so he was able to watch the Saints win the Super Bowl in New Orleans with our family! The city is so elated at the win - it was absolutely crazy last night and we will continue to celebrate right through Mardi Gras.
Since we are moving from New Orleans to DC this summer (we are both live long residents of New Orleans), it is SO sweet to be here for this moment!

Glad to hear he got out. It was a great game, wasn't it?
