Anyone else having trouble getting the Hawaii SMART Health Card to work? I'm getting an error my vaccine card cannot be verified - even though it verifies fine when uploaded for flights from the mainland to Hawaii.

Emailed them and true to Hawaii style - were completely unhelpful

I'm having the same problem. I cannot input my email address, too.

I already had an existing safe travels account - so I can login. I can enter all the info on my CDC vax card but when I submit it throws an error it cannot be verified.

I realized what I did wrong - I entered the year of my shots as 2020 not 2021. Worked fine when I corrected my mistake.

What I don't like is that it does not email the QR code - you have to retrieve it each time on the Safe Travels website.

Can't you just retrieve it once and save It?
Screenshot on phone?
That worked for the safe travels entry process.

Can someone explain the process to me?
I got my 2 shots while visiting the mainland in March.

All I have is the card, I didn't get a QR code. Is that assigned when I upload my card and info?

You can't get the code if you got the shots on the mainland - only shots in Hawaii.

You'll need to use the physical card

Ok, thanks.
I imagine we'll be able to upload our boosters?

I doubt they've thought that far ahead - the current site only gives a code 15 days after for the single J&J shot - or 15 days after the second Moderna or Pfizer shot and all the shots must be given in Hawaii.
