I'm moving from downtown Denver to Oklahoma City. I love the city life here, and will be trying to rent an apartment or buy property in or near Midtown. Looking on the internet I can not find the right place to start my search. Is there a certain zip code, neighborhood, or apartment/loft complex anyone would recommend??

Midtown's tough, because things like gas stations and groceries are rare. There are new loft apartments and condos downtown that are priced through the roof. But, that's not Midtown. By Midtown I assume you mean the area between NW 10th and NW 36th, and between Lincoln blvd and Western Avenue? I recommend using Zillow.com and looking up the zip codes 73106, 73103, and 73102. It's an older part of town, remember, so there's going to be a lot of turn-of-the-last-century fixer-uppers intermingled with overpriced mansions in dire need of 21st century wiring. There's also a mix socioeconomically, as well. You will need to make your own mind up as to your tolerance level as far as that goes. There are a couple nice houses in the Gatewood neighborhood for sale.

Hope your search goes well!

Gatewood is in Uptown just south of OCU.
