I would be flying in from NJ, I've never flown before so I'm not sure what the difference is between city or national airport. . .

Oklahoma City - Fly in and drive down I-35 for 2 hours and then another hour from Ardmore

DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth) - Fly in and drive up I-35 for 2 hours and then another hour from Marritta

If Ardmore has a low end Airport like Lawton does (only has flights from DFW in or out) you could get a flight from DFW to Ardmore, cost might be more but saves on drive time? Oh, flight would more than likely be on a prop plane from American Eagle.

Hope that helps.

DFW is going to get you the most direct flights into the area. You can take U.S. Highway 75 north out of Dallas into Durant, OK then cut east. 75 is at least 4 lane divided highway from Dallas to Durant.

Texarkana has an airport. I think American Eagle is in and out of there.
