It is on 76th between Cass and Dodge. I am really stoked about this. I am heading there later today. I know that your local Hy-Vee has sweet and sour sauce.

What nationality runs this new store and what is it called? I always go to the New Asian Supermarket, they are run by Thai people but they carry lots of Filipino, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and other Asian brands all in the same store.

I hope the prices are reasonable, I look forward to using it. Most grocery stores have a limited Asian selection.

New Asian Supermarket is actually ran by Vietnamese owners. I love that store.

But the new one, I am guessing it's Chinese owned because it's owned by the same owner who owns the China Buffet restaurants in Omaha. If you have been to those restaurants, you'll know that those places are very clean, well-kept, and fresh food for a buffet. So I'd expect the same qualities with his grocery store.

We went on Saturday and were really impressed. It was a very large, well laid out, and clean store. You could do all of your shopping there as long as you are ok with fish curry for dinner instead of burgers and potatoes. There were many interesting fruits and veggies in the produce aisle. The fish counter was one of the highlights for me. Another cool thing was the fact that they had a bin of durian fruit! I could not get the guts up to get one this time, but perhaps when my buddies and I are drinking the liquid courage would take over. Word to the wise: fried gluten balls are not very good... at all. This place is really awesome, and I can't wait to try out my cooking skills with all these new ingredients.
