I love to have an abundance of living plants around me. I like to have flowers on my balcony and a good number of houseplants. When I lived in Pennsylvania, I found a nice variety of perennials for my balcony and an abundance of interesting houseplants at Home Depot. At my present location in northwest Omaha, I find a few (bedraggled) choices for the balcony, and little other than succulents for houseplants. Possibly, the management at this location is just not interested in what I'm interested in. Maybe other locations are better?

My question: Does anyone know a great source for houseplants? Interesting perennials?

Lowe's occasionally gets in unusual plants, too. It's hit or miss, but I usually check whenever I'm there.
I have to come to Omaha for various items too heavy to mail, every few months.

Thanks for the ideas. I happen to live quite close to Mulhall's, so will check that out this weekend--assuming the weather isn't horribly hot.
