My husband and I are driving cross country. Leaving MA 9/21, will get to Omaha around the 23rd. Would like to know what we "MUST" see? We love food, outdoors, and the arts if that helps. But we are open to anything. Please let me know what we shouldn't miss. We have only 1 day in town.

Explore the Old Market Area too, it has several galleries, local restaurants and shops, and as recommended earlier, the zoo and maybe the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian bridge too.

hmm.... Esquire magazine featured a blurb about Darrio's Brasserie at 50th and Underwood. They have some good food.
