Hi, I'm a 41 y.o. SWF artist/graphic designer. I moved to Orlando 2 years ago from brooklyn ny. I'm having trouble finding people with a similar background to hang out with. Are there any other interesting, cultured people from big cities here?

maybe some, but we are certainly no sanfran/nyc/seattle/charlotte/austinatlanta/raleigh though. we have many interesting ppl from all over the world, but mostly from ny, nj, and puerto rico areas.

Don't expect too much help here artdesignlou...they prefer to complain (especially about NYer's) to helping. Even though one day they are saluting the heroes of 911, the next day they are stereotyping them as "rude NYers". They haven't got a clue. You probably would do better on a Match Website or Craigs List under Activities or Events. Also, why not post your own Ads, they are free.
