Hello,

I have lived in Orlando all of my life but only recently moved into an apartment outside of living with my parents. I received the first month's power bill (29 days), and it was around $130. I live with one roommate, and am very conscientious about saving energy; I use CFL light bulbs, and have a power strip for the entertainment center that is switched OFF at night and during the working hours (usually on from 5pm-11pm nightly, except weekends). Lastly, our AC is set to 80 degrees when we are home, and raised to 85 degrees during the day.

Can anyone share electricity usage and monthly electricity cost with an Orlando native? Our total usage this month for 29 days was 1053kwh, is this low?

Any feedback is appreciated!
