Realtor in Orlando (Oviedo, Wekiva, Winter Park) (Hampton: apartments, leasing)

We are relocating from North East and we are interested in having a good realtor that can help us find an apartment/townhouse for rent. Can you please point me in the right direction with some names and contact information?

Any must haves like good schools?

Many realtors don't like handling rentals because only some companies pay commission and the ones that do are a small fraction of a house sale, yet the work load is not too much different. However, you should find some that are willing to do it. It makes sense for them to do it if they have their long-term career in mind. Just throwing it out there because you are likely to come across many that will pass, so don't be deterred or anything, it's fairly common.

I would start with https://www.apartments.com/orlando-fl/. If they are not able to assist you with an apartment that you really like there are several great companies that specialize in rentals.

Try Remax they helped us out a few years ago. Generally, they deal with home rentals more than apartments although they can / will do condos or townhomes. But do your homework because many of the realtors or property management folk in Central Florida tend to not be in your interest so really read everything you sign. It's also not uncommon that people may hire an attorney to review the contract before signing.

We're on the other end of the spectrum as you planning our move back up to the Northeast after a few years down here.

Any must haves like good schools?: Good Elementary and Middle schools is a must, safety as well, preferably no rugs in the apartment (or the least amount as possible).
