My 1yr old Male Boxer (not neutered) has been having problems urinating. He can only get drips or at times spurts of urine out. I've taken him to the vet several times for this problem and they've checked for stones and said he does not have them. His prostate is fine i've given him antibiotics for UTI. The problem was most recently happened about two months ago and after lasting for about a month went away. Today it has come back, he is lethargic, not hungry and cannot pee. Im very worried about him but the vets can find nothing to explain this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Take him to the emergency vet if you have not already as Urinary Tract obstructions can get very serious quickly. I would really question the ability of your regular vet and consider a better referral from the ER. I have found the vets (Dr Hubbard and Dr Schindler in my instances) and the entire staff on two recent occasions at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Casselberry outstanding in terms of knowledge, compassion and cost of treatment. They also have a location in Orlando though can't vouch for anything there. Good luck!

Conway Vet is our vet and was for years until we moved. Totally frustrated regarding our dog's diabetes management with another vet, and went back, even though it's out of our way. One visit and we were on track. 4752 Hoffner Avenue, 407-851-4752. They are not an emergency vet though. Dr. Porter is a third generation vet. Very reasonable cost wise. I was being charged double for tests by our other vet.

You might also post in the pet forum to see if anyone else has had a similar issue. They would be people more likely to find this post with information.
