Fountains and landscaping??? Sounds like we're going for all the bells and whistles. But we all know 6 years really means 8-10 for a government project. Thanks goodness for Sunrail.

If one happens to work along the I-4 corridor. For the vast majority who do not, it's going to be pretty sad.

Such is the life. Roads and bridges don't grow on their own and building new ones causes inconveniences.

Fortunately there are some decent ways to avoid I-4. The tourists are screwed though.

I agree the 417 and 429 are great alternatives for those that have the option, though the majority are going to be SOL.

I was also referring to some of the "side streets." For example John Young and Mills usually flow pretty well, even during rush hour.

True thought that'll change once the I-4 mess begins.

Sunrail ridership numbers are already dropping. Not looking good at this point.

The 417/429 don't work that well because you have to drive so much more out of the way if you are trying to get to areas that are in proximity to I-4. The extra time and tolls ends up being the negative.

JYP can be hit or miss. That being said, I don't think we have a lot of options. I think congestion-based pricing with additional toll lanes is the way to go like they have Miami (except in Miami, they hijacked the HOV).
