I primarily drive from Tennessee to Orlando. I rarely drive in the southern part of Florida. That being said, I'm trying to decipher the differences and determine which is best for me amongst the various toll road transponders. Ideally, I'd like one that works in Georgia and Florida, and one that does not have a monthly minimum. Are there some transponders (UniPass or EasyPass or PeachPass) that do not work on all the toll roads in GA and FL? Are any proprietary to just their roads?

I had a transponder on the west coast but they had a monthly minimum. If I did not use $29.99 each month in tolls, it dung my credit card $29.99 or whatever was the difference between what I used and the $29.99 minimum.

Thanks for helping me through the confusion.

I have a Peach Pass from Georgia and have used it on toll roads in Tampa, Orlando, South Florida and the Turnpike in addition to the Atlanta Express Lanes. No problems and no monthly fees. There is no monthly minimum. I sometimes go months without a charge since the closest toll is 60 miles away. I think my auto-refill is adding $20 when the balance drops to $10, but you can always add more if needed such as an extended Orlando trip where tolls are more frequent.
