I want to get a home with about 1 to 2 acres of land for horses in the central Florida area.My husband works in the disney area,and doesn't want to drive more than 45 minutes.Any suggestions on different areas?

Wedgefield is an area about 10 miles east of Orlando. Lots of people have horses there. The land is parceled out between 1-5 acres.

You may also want to try areas around Ocala that are still close to Orlando and are known for horse culture and semirural living.

It would be worth the drive to live in a rural area regardless of how long it took. I'm not fond of city living at all. Of course, gas prices have to be considered.
