Good morning everyone
Happy Thursday
Our dogs decided they wanted us to get up around 2, I tried going back to bed , but as you can see that didn't work

So lets see who is still up for a really really early
I got up early too.....and got my own thread....up and running for the day and then decided to check out QOTD.....good morning Karla and the other early birds!
Today's Question:

What was your last over indulgence ?
Food ?
I have been doing very well in this department.
Drink ?
Sleeping ?
Shopping ?
Other
DP and I decided to create a garden around the mailbox out front across the street....this whim....led to the purchase of lots and lots of garden soil and amendments....plus some really nice large perennial flower plants to create an instant garden. It looks beautiful....but it really was an over indulgence.....another garden around here is like "carrying coals to Newcastle!"

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing in your home that busticated ?

What/who caused it to busticate ?

We have been blessedly bustication-free lately.

Inquiring Minds Question:

Are you older or younger than NASA ?

I graduated HS in 1958.....older than NASA....older than dirt.

Bonus Question:

How many different kinds of "Drive-thru's" do you use ?
I try to avoid "drive-thrus"......the name is a misnomer....you usually have to wait and wait and all those engines idling.....polutes the air and wastes energy. But I will say here in my small town the drive thru at the bank is usually open without a wait....so I have used it.....thats about it.

Just for Fun:

Where was your last long distance phone call to ?
South Carolina....(family there).

Have a good day everyone and Karla....Thanks for the QOTD

Today's Question:

What was your last over indulgence ?
Food ?
I am sure it was food, I have a weakness for good Chinese food and we have a good restaurant here in Cary where I can eat all the sushi I want.
Drink ?
Unless you count tea I don’t fit this one. I have been told I am drinking way too much Ice tea during these last hot days.
Sleeping ?
I sleep five or six hours a night, seven days a week. No way to get past it, just part of my system.
Shopping ?
No not ever
Other _____?

Extra Credit Question:

What was the last thing in your home that busticated?
I won’t know till this morning, but it may be the down stairs air condition. It died last night, and won’t get checked till today. If not that it would be my favorite coffee cup. I have a Carpel tunnel problem which will open my hand sometimes when I don’t want to have it open. I have dropped several cups, one my favorite and one Mrs. Cncracer’s favorite cup. I have shifted to nice plastic glasses or stainless steel to drink from, which just spills my drink and saves the better drinking cups.

What/who caused it to busticate?
The 100 plus weather if it is the air condition, if it is my favorite coffee cup it would be me.

Inquiring Minds Question:

Are you older or younger than NASA?
I have them by a few years.

Bonus Question:

How many different kinds of "Drive-thru's" do you use?
Just three, star bucks, the drug store, and the Bank.

What s the most unusual "Drive-thru" you have either visited or seen?
I saw a convenient store drive through back in the 80’s. It did not last long.

Just for Fun:

Where was your last long distance phone call to?
Wyoming last night

When was the last time you wanted or did "bust someone chops" (tease)?
I seldom tease people. I have a dry humor, and too many people think I am serious when I tell a joke, or even try to tease a person. It is best to just avoid it to all but the people who really know me.

When was the last time you wanted or did "bust someone chops" (tease) ? A few days ago - a friend of mine is opening a fried chicken franchise-type restaurant across the street from the office and he brought me what I "thought" was a chicken breast. Thank God a client was there, because I couldn't eat it right away and it turned out to be fish (didn't smell like fish though). He knows I'm allergic so I asked him if he was trying to make me to puke everywhere
