Yes, I've had those moments where I felt like losing it but I've been blessed with a strong sense of self-control.

Yes. When I was a young married and a new mom, almost 50 years ago, we lived in a trailer and the kitchen faucet kept coming dislodged. DH, who was mechanically gifted, "fixed" it a few times but every time I turned the water on, it came apart and I had a geyser shooting up. One day, after the umpteeth time, I "lost it" and grabbed the faucet and started pounding on the kitchen counter, using it as a weapon and leaving round dents all over it. When DH came home, he broke down and went out and bought a new faucet, even though we didn't have any money to spare, and installed it the next day. I guess he was afraid I might start beating his head in with the faucet, if he happened to be around the next time I turned the water on and got a geyser shooting up toward the ceiling.

It generally takes a lot for me to "lose it" but I have lost it a few times. I've been nearly hit by cars so many times in this particular town (much more often than in the city of Washington D.C.) that I pretty much lose it any time someone doesn't respect my light. The time when the driver drove over my friend's foot and drove off, I got so angry and scared that I was literally sobbing and shaking the whole way home.

I almost lost it just today, I was so overwhelmed with emotion I could have laid in the floor in the fetal position and cried my eyeballs... Thank God this too passed...

I'm guilty of losing it. But I keep it to myself and suffer in silence.

I'm sorry you had such a rough day. I hope you feel better. Make yourself some cocoa and treat yourself well tomorrow. You deserve it! By the way, tried to rep you but have to spread it around some more.
