I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! In NW Indiana we had 2" of snow on Saturday morning, and on Sunday afteroon it was almost 60 degrees and sunny. Go figure! Scroll on down for Today's Tip!
Scratches on furniture
You can disguise light scratches on wood furniture by touching them up with a wax crayon pencil and then buffing with a soft cloth.
Good tip Pam. They do make special crayon like things to fill in and/or color scratches in furniture. They make small jars of touch up paint for your car and porcelain touch up for appliances.
Yes, it settles your nerves as you're trying to fill those little marks with a steady hand...
We have, like satyx mentioned, those crayon color kits. They come in handy as the scratches appear and rub them on and in seconds the scratches disappear.
Yes PJ I had a fabulous weekend!! We had warmer weather here yesterday with highs of 40's to very low 50's. Today it snowed in western and midwestern MA . I only wish it had snowed where I live, soon enough though, just can't wait!!!!
PJ your tip of the day was awesome!!!! I will try it out today! You would think after all these years of being a mom I would of known about this TIP by now !!!!!

My sister sells furniture, and she gave me some of those touch-up pens (they look like felt tip markers). They work great. Today's Tip was something I found online.

Gee, thanks, hope! See above comment about the touch-up pens. I just figured I'd throw in this tip I found online because a lot of people, especially those with kids at home, have crayons and/or crayon pencils readily available in the house. And they come in such a variety of colors, there's sure to be one there that matches the color of the wood that's scratched. Good luck!
