It's Friday, kids! Yippee! Today's Tip is a really cool one that comes from our friend, rainroosty. Some of you may have seen it in his QOTD post on April 7, but it's such a good one, I think it bears repeating in Today's Tip!
CREATE YOUR OWN WATERPROOF MATCHES
To create your own waterproof matches, take wooden matches and dip them in melted wax. Coat them completely with a layer of wax. After you do this, they are 100% waterproof. When you want to light one, simply pick the wax off the match head and strike it.
How cool is that? Or, more accurately, how hot is that? Thanks, rainroosty!
I knew about this after having purchased waterproof matches in the past. Then thinking of how to do it myself. But, Ive since forgotten about it . So thanks Pam and Roosty for the reminder!
It really is a hot tip.....

This shouldn't be a surprise. With a nome like rainroosty I'll bet he knows how to make a lot of things waterproof.
I love this tip & can't wait to share it with son!
Thanks Pam & rainroosty!
