Ha!

Today's Questions:
What type of food was your last carry out or take away?
I just had an order of stir fried noodles/seafood from the Vietnamese restaurant earlier today.

What was your last food delivery at home?
It was a while back but I had some Thai food - Shrimp green curry, Gai Kua noodle with tofu, veggies and BBQ chicken along with some rice

About how much do you tip for delivery at home?
About 10-15%

Have you ever received the wrong order?
Not that I can recall

Would you call them back or just eat the mistake?
Depends upon what the mistake was and whether I'd be content with the alternative. Usually, I don't bother having them return. If I were at a restaurant, then I'd be more likely to request the correct item.

Have you ever been given a freebie, intentionally or not?
I have before.

If it was unintentionally free, What did you do?
Don't believe that I received any unintentionally free items. If I did, I'd let them know if it's feasible for me to get the item back to them. I don't drive so I can't take the buses back as easily as someone drives. Now if it were a delivery order, I'd call them to report the error and let them decide how they want to handle it.

Do you order food online or by phone?
Phone.

Bonus Questions:
In the spirit of "Would you like fries with that?" Let's talk about sides.
What sides do you want with:
Burgers? I guess fries but not big on burgers.
Fried chicken? Mashed potatoes, corn
Fried fish? Mashed potatoes or macaroni & cheese, corn
Pizza? Maybe a salad
Sub sandwiches? Soup
Tacos/burritos? Nachos
Other?

Sandwich Questions:
You can have the sub sandwich of your choice.

Footlong or half? Footlong

What type of bread do you want? Italian herbs and cheese

What do you want for toppings? lettuce, pickles, extra bell peppers, extra olives, cilantro, cucumbers

What dressing or condiments? oil/vinegar along with salt/pepper

Toasted or not? Not toasted
Only took me a minute to type all of this ... I've gotten to be a pro at ordering my sandwiches JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT at Subway

Well ... I remember when I was a teenager, my mom and I were at the drive thru window when this lady ran out of the restaurant with a gun Turns out, someone drove off in her car with her baby inside I dunno what happened as we hightailed it outta there. This was in Compton, CA.

BTW , the City of San Antonio, Texas spent millions replacing all those lights with LCD's last year I think it was. Then spent millions more to replace them with more lights similar to the originals. This among many other moronic decisions by the city government.

Thanks for sharing elnina.

Everyone have a great Thursday!

What was your last food delivery at home? Pizza, a couple years ago.

Have you ever received the wrong order? In drive-throughs, yes. Very frustrating.
Would you call them back or just eat the mistake? Every time except for one I never reported the mistake.
Have you ever been given a freebie, intentionally or not? I don't think so.
Do you order food online or by phone? Phone. It's very rare for me to order delivery, but the next time I order from Pizza Hut, I'll do it online.

Bonus Questions:
In the spirit of "Would you like fries with that?" Let's talk about sides.
What sides do you want with:
Burgers? Crispy fries.

Drive Thru Bug Prank - YouTube

If you can think of anything interesting happening at a fast food joint - anything at all - please tell us. It doesn't have to be as hilarious as this prank video or the ones like it. In about 1980, my brother and his wife got a bucket of fried chicken from a famous fast food place which I'd better not name in this post. As they were eating, she had difficulty biting through one piece. Suddenly, the breading came off and revealed a MOUSE! Yes, my sister-in-law was trying to bite the head off a battered and deep-fried MOUSE! Funny now, but horrible for her at the time it happened.

Today’s Word:
piebald [PAHY-bawld]
adjective - having patches of black and white or of other colors; parti-colored.
noun - a piebald animal, especially a horse of two colors, originally only of black-and-white coloring
My two cats are piebald.

Today Is:
Cable Car Day I rose a cable car in San Fransisco once.
Hot-Buttered Rum Day Yum! I haven't had one of those in decades.
Hot Heads Chili Day I don't know what this is, and I'm too tired to Google it right now.
Kid Inventors Day Yay for our youngest inventors. There have been some kids on the TV show "Shark Tank" lately who had great inventions and who made deals with the sharks. I love it when young people are inventive and entrepreneurial. Good for them!

Happy Thursday, everybody. We're in the home stretch to the weekend!

Last carry out was Chinese, there isnt many choices in town here, just a few places.
I think fries would go good with all the above, except the pizza~~~
Sub sandwiches, I always get the 6" with extra bacon, pepper jack cheese, spinach, tomatoes, peppers, oh heck, just drag it through the garden~~~and add just a tiny touch of mayo.
Good night everyone~~~

A long time ago, while eating on the patio of a popular taco joint, my daughter was horsing around on the metal fence and fell back with her legs sticking straight up in the air. She was too embarrassed to come back up, so stayed that way for about 5 minutes. LoL! Guess you'd have to have been there!
